This course is designed to familiarize students with the principles of welding and metal fabrication. Students will learn basic welding and metal fabrication concepts. Students will have the opportunity to complete welds in and out of position using GMAW (wire feed welding) and SMAW (stick welding). Students will also learn how to cut metal using an oxy-acetylene torch and plasma cutter.
